Keep sleep sounds playing overnight on iPhone
Safari tabs sleep. Add Sounds to the Home Screen, leave Overnight on, and the mix can sit on the lock screen.
Why it stops
Mobile Safari suspends background tabs. That is the phone, not the mix. A PWA with Media Session and a silent keepalive is what overnight rain apps actually need.
What to do
Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. Open Sounds from that icon, not the Safari tab. Play. Overnight hold is on by default. Lock the phone. Pause should sit on the lock screen. Android: Chrome → Install app, then Apps → Sounds → Battery → Unrestricted.
If earbuds announce that audio stopped
Bluetooth headphones speak when the stream dies. Install the PWA so the stream does not die. If they still talk, use the phone speaker on the nightstand.

Why do sleep sounds stop on iPhone?
Safari backgrounded the tab. Add Sounds to the Home Screen and play from that icon with Overnight hold on.
Will Sounds show on the lock screen?
Yes, while it is playing from the installed app. The timer is the progress bar. A Safari tab will not keep it.
